Experience Through Their Eyes

First time eating here on a Sunday afternoon, and the food was great! I originally came here for the traditional wings, but the waiter mentioned that I came on a good day because they only made ribs on Sunday. He knew it was my first time, so he suggested that entree. Being an eater, I had to get some of their wings & ribs! The wings are great! They are a decent size and slightly breaded. I got their medium wing sauce on the side because I like to give both the wings and sauces their own individual taste test. The house made medium sauce has a sticky maple-syrup base. So, it's not your typical medium sauce. It's still great though! Then the wings were thoroughly cooked. A nice crunchy lightly seasoned breaded outside and I think the chicken is also brined. You could easily eat the wings by themselves and be satisfied with them. As for the ribs, super good! Huge portion, and the sauce was great it's smoked, it the not in an overwhelming way. The pork ribs were super tender and mouthwatering. I also got the Mac and cheese, and coleslaw as the sides. The coleslaw was chopped and not shredded with minor seasoning. The Mac and cheese was a huge portion for a side. Super good and cheesy! Great spot to stop by for some great food, friendly service, and cold beer!

I stopped by after years of absence. Sat at the bar, friendly people just as it used to be. I was happy to hear the recipes stayed with the place. Bloody Marys, perfect. Ordered to go the Philly and small pizza. The taste of the past. Same pizza, same Philly. There are people out there who understand traditions and you don't screw with what is good. Your food brought back good memories. Thanks for that.

I don't usually even leave reviews but my husband had a quesadilla yesterday at Sourmugs and raved how good it was. So of course I now needed to try it. We both ordered the chicken quesadillas and an order of the hot pepper cheese balls....when I tell you I expected normal bar food and what I received was so far from it! Everything was flavorful and all around wonderful! We will be back and highly recommend! If you're thinking about going, do it!

A great place for a family to come and eat great food. Wings are amazing. Pizza is great too. Fried pickles are exceptional! Fried mushrooms too. Never had anything bad. Service is always very friendly. Sometimes they are busy so it can take a while, but that's okay because the vibes are good. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend! Went on Saturday afternoon, couldn't have had better service. The bartender recognized we were new to the place was helpful with our wing sauces and beet choices. Go with the Daddy sauce. We got wings and a deluxe pizza. Get both! We'll definitely be back!
